I have been reading the entries in this file and it seems like most
people go on cruises with a companion. I am thinking about an Alaskan
cruise, possibly the end of June or beginning of July.
Has anyone had any experience cruising solo?

Hi!
I've done it twice! Two different lines, once on Carnival and once
on Norwegian.
Go for it and dont think that for a minute you'll be lonely! People
are wonderful on cruises and you'll meet lots of new friends.
The only thing I would say is that if you're looking for a party
you might want to choose Carnival. If you're looking for a quieter
time, most of the other cruise lines can provide that, as well as
an occasional party. Either way you wont be lonely unless you choose
to be.
