| | Different ships offer different laundry services. Most offer dry
cleaning as well as regular laundry at a price. Some have self service
laundry which really comes in handy. On Sitmar's Fairsky (now one of
Princes Line's ships) you could bring your laundry down to the laundry
room, the crew would wash and fold it, then you would tip them whatever
you felt was appropriate. If you wanted the clothes ironed the cost
    was minimal.
Anyway, check the brochure or ask your travel agent what is offered on
the Festival if you can't get an answer here.
    Have fun.

| | Oh ya, almost forgot. If you have blue jeans washed on ship be sure
you tell them NOT to iron them. Nine months later my jeans still have
a crease down each leg. This has happened on two different ships. The
laundry people seem obsessed with ironing things, everything.

| | We used the laundry on the Sun Viking last March and the charges were
less than you would pay at a hotel here in the states. We have not
cruised with Carnival so am not sure what their policy is for charges.

    Hope these replies help.

My wife spilt some red wine on her white blouse. Had it sent
to the ships laundry and had it back the next day, no wine. The
charge was minimal. this was on RCCL's Nordic Prince. but
just ask your cabin stoward. They'll take care of you. And there
is usualy a discription of services in the ship/cruise line brochure.

My wife and I used the laundry on the RCCL Song of America. We
had suits, skirts, shirts, and dresses cleaned and pressed. They
did an excellent job (better than most cleaners I've been to).

It was nice being able to just leave the clothes in the cabin with
the cleaning order attached and coming back the next day to find
    them cleaned and pressed.

| | Don't they get very upset if you iron clothes in your cabin? Something
to do with being a fire hazard? On the Jubilee they had a room for
everyone to use (one on each floor) to iron your own clothes.
