138.1 | Hope this helps. | MUTT::DANIEL | DAN SODERQUIST DTN 441-2767 | Mon Jul 24 1989 11:01 | 13 |
| Ro,
We received the flyer last month. The deal sounds very good and we
would have taken advantage of it, but we are already scheduled for the
Norway cruise in Dec.
I would suggest you contact your travel agent to check with RCCL about
your eligibility for this offer.
Hope you get to go.

Yes my wife and I received a similar offer a month ago. We're
going with the DEC group on the S.S. NORWAY in December so we didn't
take advantage of this offer. Just out of courisity, I compaired
the RDDL offer and the Offer we're getting from NCL and the
came out pretty much the same. I'd say you can lose on RCCL
but I'll be better informed after I get a look at NCL's service.

138.3 | Another RCCL deal | ATSE::FLAHERTY | Nothing is by chance! | Wed Oct 25 1989 10:18 | 20 |
| Just received a 'copy' of a flyer in the mail from Just Cruises in San
Francisco regarding an offer RCCL is giving on the Viking Serenade
(formerly Admiral Cruises' Stardancer) for 7-night cruise to the
Mexican Riviera (with free air fare to LA) starting Jan 27, 1990
through May 12, 1990. Since I've been calling around trying to find a
cruise for the NH February school vacation, this deal appeals to me. It
turns out to be $1,000 less for 3 people than any of the other
discounts I've been looking at.
Having sailed this same cruise when it was the Stardancer and really
enjoyed it, I figure it should be even better now that RCCL has taken
over. I booked reservations, however my agent told me that RCCL has
just started the mailing of these brochures to all former passengers
of both RCCL and Admiral which I need to get the discount. Having
sailed on both lines, I should be on their mailing list. Has anyone
received this brochure yet?

| re: .3
What is the fare range and where can "I" get a flyer you described?
My wife and I are looking for our first cruise experience. Does
this include the air fare, too? We live in NH, too.
Thanks,
Mike

138.5 | addt'l info | ATSE::FLAHERTY | Nothing is by chance! | Thu Oct 26 1989 12:40 | 17 |
| Hi Mike,
I think the offer is extended to former passengers only. Don't know
if you could get in on it, but it wouldn't hurt to try! The toll
free number of Just Cruises is 800-331-SHIP. You can mention my name
if you want as they know me because they don't get a lot of customers
from NH.
Yes, airfare is included. The price starts at $1095 (I think), the
second person would be half that price and the third and or fourth
person would be $645 each (plus port taxes which I think are about $76
per person).
Good luck...

| I haven't received the flyer yet, and I just sailed on the Stardancer
(before change to RCCL) this past summer to Alaska.

| My travel agent pushed for them to locate my records and they
finally sent me a flyer. We're booked for the NH February school
vacation - can't wait!!!! They will be sending some information
regarding add-on pacakages for a couple of extra days in LA.
Kathy, if you're interested in going - I'd have your travel agent
call and tell them you we're waiting for the brochure but never
received it. I'm sure they'd allow it even though the Nov 15th
deadline has past.

138.8 | neat add-on package | ATSE::FLAHERTY | Nothing is by chance! | Tue Jan 09 1990 10:56 | 16 |
| Recently received the add-on information. There were four choices:
a Disneyland package, a Universal Studio package, a San Francisco
package, and a Queen Mary/Spruce Goose/Disneyland package.
We decided to take the Queen Mary package for 3 nights because it was
the least expensive but also we thought it would be interesting to
stay aboard yesterday's most beautiful cruise ship. The package
icludes a first class cabin on the Queen Mary; Shipwalk and Spruce
Goose tour, taxes, porterage, 3 day-car rental and admission to
Disneyland. We figured we could take in the other sights on our own
since the car is included.
We leave February 24 and return March 6. Will report when we return.

138.9 | Just came back from cruise/add-on pkg. | DOMO::WESSELS | | Thu Jan 18 1990 12:01 | 13 |
| I/we went on the Song of America from January 7 to the 14th (last
week!). We also did the Walt Disney package add-on and flew into
Orlando from Miami for three days. We stayed at the Hilton in Walt
Disney Village. We did not need a car as their is bus service from
right in front of the hotel to each of the 3 parks. It runs every 20
minutes - we never waited more than 5 or 6 minutes, though and the
Hilton is the first stop going to the parks and the first stop dropping
off on the return trip. The buses are brand new and very clean.
The Hilton was clean and the room was spacious. There are 6
restaurants in the hotel - all types and costs. I would not hesitate
taking this add-on package again.
