| 113.1 | Three from New York | GRANPA::JLISTON |  | Fri Apr 14 1989 16:51 | 18 |
| | There are three major cruise lines sailing from New York to Bermuda
    this year. They are Royal Carribean Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise
    Lines and Cunard. I don't know of any that are sailing from Boston,
    but there may be some.

    All three are seven day cruises. The Cunard "Princess" sails on
    Wednesdays while the RCCL "Nordic Prince" sails on Sundays and the
    NCL Ship (I don't remember the name of the ship) sails on saturday.
    The Nordic Prince docks at Hamilton Harbour the whole time it is
    in Bermuda, while the other two ships spend tim in Hamilton and
    St Georges.

    Note #3 has some additional information about Bermuda. By the way
    my Wife and I are sailing on the Nordic Prince on Sept 17, maybe
    we will see you on board.

    note 74.1 has information on the Nordic Prince (1989) schedule.
    LOVED the Nordic Prince. This ship is responsiblt for my wife
    getting bit by the cruise bug.

    Have a GREAT time

    The H.M.S. Homeric was one of the ships that also sailed to Hamilton.

| 113.3 | I'd vote for Royal Viking Star | VINO::FLEMMING | Just the facts ma'am. | Sun Apr 16 1989 15:57 | 11 |
| | I've seen ads in the Globe for the Galileo offering 5 day cruises
    from Boston but I didn't find it when I looked today. I believe
    that's Chandris. They may also sail from New York other dates.

    It may have been aluded to above since that has been some aquisitions
    and some name changes but, Royal Viking Star every Saturday night
    from NY. It may cost a little more but RV line in worth it if you
    don't mind a little older crowd - might not even be true NY to Bermuda,
    and a lot more luxury like single sitting dinners. I think their
    ads call it a Limousine and that sure has been my experience.

    >>The H.M.S. Homeric was one of the ships that also sailed to Hamilton.

    The Homeric was purchased by Holland America last year at about this
    time. It is now the ms Westerdam. It is being "stretched" right now.
    It will be sailing out of NYC next Spring and Bermuda is on the
    itinerary. See note 115.

    Holland America has been purchased by Carnival Cruise Lines but that's
    another story.  See note 114.
