My wife and I sailed the "Song of Norway". It's not really
small in comparison to some other ships. However, with the
attention from the staff you would think it small.
It's the only time I've ever seen so many nationalities
(staff) living so close together in harmony. The ship
brags of it's staff of so many origins. In 1986 it
was rated #1 in cruise ships with 3 other RCCL ships
in the top 5. The ratings were for service, food, fun,
etc. etc.
The rooms are small, but that's the way it is on all
ships, unless you stay with the captain. You should
receive a book in the mail from the RCCL explaining
what to bring for clothes, how to tip, etc. Believe
what you read. They were 100% correct. We overpacked.
Food is free, 3 sittings plus mid-nite buffet. But
you have to pay for booze. Bottles on board are very
cheap (no taxes).
