Hi, Is there any PCL3 filter available for DIGITAL UNIX? A customer needs to print in landscape on a HP DeskJet 600. He tried lj250 filter, hplaser and no filter at all with no success. Thanks for any help, Miriam

The hplaserof print filter might work. To activate landscape use lpr -w132, -Olandscape will not work. If you did use -w132 and it didn't work, what were the results?

It didn't work. hplaserof prints garbage on HPDeskJet 600. I was told that a hpdj680c filter should solve the problem but I couldn't find it. Does any one have ever heard about this filter? Any pointer? Thanks in advance, Miriam

Now that I think about it I can't remember if the deskjet does landscape. Looking at the code implies that it does. Anyway, the code is located at web site ftp://vorpal.zk3.dec.com/html/print.html . You need to get the pcfof print filter engine and the hpdj680c.pcf printer configuration file. The instructions on how to setup the filter is under the tell me more section. |
