507.0. "Where to Purchase a Cisco router ?" by CSC32::ROSS (Mitchell A. Ross) Tue Apr 22 1997 19:31
Hi,
I need to buy a Cisco router for my "work from home" use. My ISDN line
is in from US West, I have a dial-up ISDN Internet account, but have
been unsuccessful in getting a router (at a discount price).
I'm a CCIE at the Colo Spgs CSC and would really appreciate not having
to buy this thing at full retail. DEC is NOT buying it for me, it's
a personal purchase.
Specifically I need a Cisco 776 and "small office" software.
Part # CISCO776-CH ISDN IP Router w/NT-1, 4 port Hub, 2 POTS
CAB-AC Power Cord
SF760-SO-US-4.0 Software - 4 user, data compression
The list price for the above is $1,099.00
Of course, I can buy it from Cisco direct at list price - can anyone
sell it to me, or point me to who can sell it to me, at or near
Digital's channel partner discount price ?
