Looks like, after only one year of playing, you're hooked...
well, that's, unfortunately, very normal.
For a golf junkie, conditions in the "greater Nashua area" will be playable,
but no where near ideal. Expect it to be very cool, breezy, cloudy, moist
grounds and leafless trees. If it doesn't snow (it doesn't, normally, but
a late season snowfall is still possible) you'll be able to play, you'll
enjoy it, but you won't be impressed (and you might be cold and wet).
There's never an excuse *not* to bring your clubs, so...

Just to set your expectations correctly, yesterday, the sun was shining
brightly, the temps were in the mid-60's (F), and I even had the run the A/C
in my car when the windows were closed. No sweaters (jumpers, to you Brits)
required.
Today, it's snowing very hard and we are expecting 1-2 feet snow!!!
Thursday, the temps are expected to rise to the 50's again.
...Bring orange balls to be safe! They are easier to find in the snow.

| I will be staying at the Crownn Plaza hotel in Nashua. If anyone fancies a
game, they can contact me there or via Jeff Curless @LKG which is where I
expect to be at the end of the week (Thursday/Friday).
I fly back Sunday evening so either/both days on the weekend are fine.

| Well, I managed 2 games (almost) on your public courses. Fine time.
But I was not impressed by the greens or the speed of play. You seem to let
on far too many people and considering you have had all winter to sort out
the greens they were in a shocking state (if Augusta can manage it, why not
other places :-))

| Hollis and a 9 hole course near Amherst - I can't remember the names
offhand.
I will say that the people I played with were the friendliest I have found.
They were all very nice to the 'lone Brit'.

Guess the weather was just waiting for you to leave!
The weather has been *perfect* since Sunday morning. Played both Sunday and
Monday in a polo shirt and vest. However, the course was still *very* wet...
even on Monday. It'll take another week to dry out a bit, I bet.
But, I'll check tonight after work...just to be sure.
Sorry we didn't get to play...the course is in pretty good shape if you're
wearing your Dry Joys and if your ball doesn't plug. (Lost a couple in the
fairway and first cut of rough...of course I lost many more in the ponds!)

| Yes, I did get to play on Sunday. It was a lovely day and the people were
great. The slow pay drove me crazy and I had to leave after 14 holes to
catch the plane.......
