Did'nt really notice what he was playing this year but last
year at Newport he was playing Mizuno blades. (MP14's I think)
What I'd like to know is what make of driver/3-wood was he using
this past weekend?

| Golf Magazine online has excerpts from a New York Times article
which says that Tiger will announce he is turning pro tomorrow
with the following endorsements:
Titleist - $3M/year to use Titleist balls and clubs
Nike - $40/5-year to wears the shoes
The same article says that he reverse his decision and go back
to school primarily because he has already committed to play
in the World Amateur Championships in Nov. and he wants to keep
his promise.
Anyone know if he needs a caddie ?

| According to the press releases the past two days Tiger is now playing
with Titleist clubs/bags/balls. Don't know what he used in the past but
seeing as how he cranked a 336 yard drive off of the first tee the
Titleist clubs seem to suit him well.

I'm sure the ink is already dry on Tiger's deal with *some* equipment
manufacturer for "Tiger Woods" (and "Tiger Irons", or course. ;-)
