| I got mail yesterday from Stow Acres that they want to reduce inventory this winter
because they are going to be remodeling the grill and pro shop area and
it said that after Thanksgiving there will be discounting everything.
As for trades, I would tend to think that you can get a better price on your
current clubs if you sell them to an individual. Place and ad here and in
the Classified Ads conference.
If you prefer to trade, I have no clue of better deal, but try both a chain store
like Nevada Bob's and pro shops. I have seen a lot of 2nd hand sets at Wayland
CC.
Good luck.

| I have been checking out the local golf shops as I'm looking to upgrade
from my 1977 Wilson Staff blades to graphite and the "more forgiving"
irons of today. Golf Day(Marlboro), Nevada Bob's(Westboro), and
Wayland Pro Shops(Wayland) are priced similiarly from what I saw, many
sales and markdowns available right now, it will probably come down to
what you like and how much your willing to spend. There are also some
real good buys on trade in clubs as well. Take a look at the "Square
2" clubs at Nevada Bob's they may be the best value for your $ in the
store.
good luck!

| g'day,
after visiting the NE area just the last two weeks, this is what I
found:
Golf Day in Nashua (near cnr of Mcdonalds) is a new store apparently,
and they offered: Callaway Big Bertha driver (graphite) 3 and 5 woods
(steel) for US$500.00 .. the driver alone in Australia is US$365
sounded like a good deal to me and the people there seem pretty
friendly.
my 2 bob's worth..
Paul.
