Hi,
I downloaded "The Rules of Golf" from the golf page on the web (url
escapes me right now) and spent some time in Microsoft Word for
Windows setting the headings as such, etc. I also stripped out some
stuff (life their table of contents and index ... perhaps some other
stuff that I didn't think was necessary).
I'd be interested in opinions on the legality of putting the .doc
and/or .txt file in this conference, seeing as how it's a copyrighted
work. If I can, I will.
I'll also ask the PGA to see what they say. What the hell, it's
probably good for golf, maybe not so good for whatever entity derives
revenue from sales of Rules books. They let the golf page post it, so
why not us?

Well I'm not one to make a decision concerning what can and can't be
posted in this notes file. But I'm sure interested in a copy of your
.doc file> any pointers?? you could just mail it to me also..

| I need to relocate the rulesofg.zip file that contains the .doc file.
I think I left it on CSSE"":: for safekeeping and will check there.

Do you mean "find again" or "find a new home" when you say 'relocate'? If
you need a home for it, I can put it on KEPTIN.
