Hi, I'm looking of any recent reports on Hickory Hills in Methuen MA. I'd be interested both in conditions and speed of play since I've got a 2'ish tee time for this Saturday. Thanks, John

I played Hickory Hills last Saturday. It was a scramble format that began about noon. We teed off at about 1:00 and were finished by 5:45. The fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. The greens left a little to be desired. The greens suffered thru ther hot summer and therefore were generally thin/patchy. The greens had been aerated a couple of weeks ago, so there were some remaining vestiges of that intervention. All in all, it was a decent experience, but would not make anyone's TOP 10. |
