    I am looking for suggestions for a place to go for a week in December
    wiht my family(wife and 10 & 5 year old) where they can have a good
    time and I can expect to play golf.  We live in Chicago and would
    prefer either driving there or a place where airfares are reasonable. 
    Any suggestions??

	If you can set-up Los Angeles, I would suggest that. You could drive to North of San Diego and there are multiple courses available as in the 100's, but Torrey Pines is there, Pala Mesa is always nice, La Costa if you have your checkbook, Pelican Hill is great, but you could also give the kids Disneyland, Sea World, SD Wild Animal Park, Knott's Berry Farm, and the weather should be nice.
