I heard some great news about Paul Azinger this morning. This news was
picked up on the radio and I am not sure how long it has been known.
Paul Azinger will return to the PGA tour in July and his 1st start will
be at Pleasant Valley. The doctors have given him a green light with no
cancer cells being found in his lymph nodes. It looks as though 100%
recovery is reality!
Way to go Zinger and Go get'em!

I saw an interview with him yesterday as well. He still has a long
way to go. He's going out to California for 5 weeks of radiation. If,
after that, he starts to feel well enough, he will start practicing.
He says he has no stregth or flexibility at this point. "Right
now my wife could beat me in a wrestling match"...or something like
that.
He is shooting to defend at PV, but that is only a goal. He still
has a tough road ahead, but things do look good.
He has got an unbelievable attitude. He say this is the best thing
to ever happen to him!!
Bald golfers are in!!!!

I saw parts of the interview also. He was in great spirits. He said he can swing the clubs now, and his pain free. The part I saw he was describing his daughters birthday party. There were about 8 to 10 girls at the party and he starts pulling his hair out in big clumps. The girls helped and he was bald in minutes. He enjoyed every minute of hit and lot it was funny. another funny thing he said was, 'after looking at all these bald
basketball players for years, I looked in the mirror, went and put
on my best sneakers, went out back to the hoop and voila.........
I could jam it!!!'
