hello.. me again!!
Does anyone know what golf stores are around the San francisco area?? I
intend to do some buying during May, when I'm there. Nevada Bob's??
Hermans?? help?
Also, I have clubs 1" longer than standard.... I assume that the larger
population in USA compared to Australia, means that customer made clubs
are easier to obtain???

Paul,
Every national chain of golf store is represented in the SF area. Also
there are many one-ownwer stores that offer good discounts. About the only
place you can't find a bargain is in the Pro shop !! There are several
custom club makers in the area but they usually have a 4-6 week delay when
you arder custom clubs. Of course that time frame is determined by just
how much modification has to be done. When you get here, just grab a phone
book and look in the "Yellow pages" under Golf Equipment. Probably be more
numbers than you care to call !!!
