1788.2Constructive Feedback?SEDCAS::CARNEYWed Oct 13 1993 08:1425
    One funny moment I witnessed after seeing a poor soul play the infamous
    Angel Raper whereby the ball finished approx 10 metres down the
    fairway.

    Totally gutted by what must have been his 10 poor shot in succesion
    the poor soul turned to his playing partners and irately enquired
    " What the %$&! am I doing wrong!"

    A member of the group who had, up to this point, remained courteously
    and respectfully quiet stepped forward and said,

    " Well John I think you're standing too close to the ball"

    Heartened by what he believed to be a constructive and well meaning
    comment the poor soul replied

    "Really, do you think so?"

    To which his partner scathingly replied

    " Yes after you've hit it!!!"

    Sounds like the best part of his short game was his driver. I can
    relate...

    Camels Ass: High and stinky.

    My personal favorite: someone hits one off the tee 50 yds and left.

                          "Well not long but off line".
