I'm meeting a few friends this fall a myrtle beach and was wondering what airport to fly into and what airline offers the most flights to myrtle beach. I'd like to leave from Manchester N.H. with my second choice being Boston. Thanks for any info. John

The only one I know of in Myrtle is MB Jet Port, In South Myrtle Beach. Small but getting bigger. They were doing a lot of work last October when I went to pick up a friend. Don't know which airlines. It's right near where 501 meets 17. Joe

You can get to Myrtle Beach by connecting through 3 cites. Atlanta on the Delta Connection, Charlotte on US AIR, or Raleigh by American Eagle. Charlotte would probably be the closest if you didn't want to have the expense of the extra leg. Being from Atlanta I recommend Delta.

THERE IS ANOTHER AIRPORT NEAR WILMINGTON, N.C. THAT'S ABOUT 1 HOUR OR A LITTLE LESS FROM MYRTLE BEACH PROPER. WE STAY IN NORTH MYRTLE BEACH AND PICK UP FRIENDS THAT FLY INTO WILMINGTON. IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DRIVE. |
