Anyone played Manchester C.C. in Bedford, NH ? I've heard it's pretty good, and I know it's an old Donald Ross course. I've also heard that it has never been in great condition - considering the esteem in which it is held in the Granite State. Never played it, but it looks like this is the year, so I welcome any information you folks might have. __Jack

Someone in my league mentioned playing it and being very impressed. Shape can be a factor of weather. For example Nashua cc looks like it is in exceptional shape this year. Yes, it is held in esteem apparently by the live free or die-ers. I am now a resident but find the native population a queer lot in many respects tho' good hearted and honest by yankee standards. The fact it is in bedford and called manchester cc for starters says much. I run a beginner's league so I could not get a great idea of the course from the person who played it, only that for a meadower it was a great change. Bill | |||||

I live in Bedford but never played the course, although I'm getting an invite from a member to play this year. I asked my pro about the course and he thought it was 'alright'. |
