Well today is my last day at Digital. I was reflecting on the things I am
going to miss the most about working here (the positive ones). At the top of
my list is the Golf Notes file. No matter how crazy the work was you could
sneak in a few minutes check out golf notes & take that instant golf vacation
to restore your sanity.
The friendship and comraderie in this notes file is super. It's like the
clubhouse at a small course that's a golf club, not a social club. We joke
we swap stories, we marvel at each others accomplishments & failures. We have
a great time & then go out & play some more golf. I'm going to miss it.
Thanks to Andy for hosting the file on OPS5. I guess it's safe now to tell
him about the curse. So far three people Mr. Litby, Gene Kelley, and myself
all had the notes file & we all left DEC. The good news is that we've all
averaged about 3 years as the owner!
