1678.0. "New store in Aurburn, Mass. opened!" by FLYSQD::MONTVILLE () Wed Apr 21 1993 10:31

New golf/tennis store open in Aurburn, MA.

Pat Riley's Golf & Tennis store recently opened in Aurburn, MA. near
the Aurburn Mall (Actually in Drury Square next to Fretta's).

This store was the Ski-Mart this past winter. It appears that for
6 months it will be golf/tennis and 6 months ski's.

I stopped in there a few weeks back and ended up with two great deals.

    1. A new pair of Etonic Stapilizers for $64.95 (sneaker style, 1 year
       waterproof guarantee).

    2. A part time job....yep, going to work a few nights and maybe
weekends in sales. I start tonite and am really looking forward to
       this new venture.

**Disclaimer** I am in no way promoting myself or this store for the
purpose of my personal gain. I am only informing the
members of this file that there is another golf and
                    tennis store within Central Mass.

    Regards,

    Bob Montville

A little more about the store. Pat Riley's Discount Golf and Tennis
are the same folks as Neveda Bob's in Westboro and other Metro West
    Neveda Bob's.

The Aurburn store will be 6 months Pat Riley's and 6 months Ski Market.

The store itself is getting in new stock on a daily basis. This chain
is the largest buyer/seller of Callaway clubs in New England. There
home-grown club is a Tommy Aaron and is selling very well. The store
will also "special order" clubs and accessories for customers. A nice
feature that alot of stores won't do. They also will trade in clubs
for a newer ones there. Of coursem the trade-ins have to be sellable!

As an employee I find it a neat place to work, they are very customer
friendly and that's the way I like to be treated at a store so it's
easy for me to treat our customers that way. They also treat me very
well as an employee so it makes it all the nicer.

Stop by and check the place out. Feel free to hit some balls with
any available club into the net. Check out the prices as they are
lower or very compatable to other stores in the area.

Again, this is not for personal gain as I get paid only when I work and
only when I sell something. I just find it to be a great store to shop
    and work at.
