Hi,
I will be working in the US next month for 4 weeks. Arriving 12th
September, leaving 15th October, staying in Lowell, MA and working in
Littleton.
I'd like to play some golf while I'm there at the weekends so I'm
looking for some playing partners. My standard is somewhere between
bad and dire - 95-110 on our easy local par 66 golf course, 120-135
around a 'hard' course, where hard = more trees and water!
No handicap card - is that a problem at US golf courses?
Anybody fancy a game or two at the weekends during that period?

Graham,
My husband and I live in North Chelmsford. We play about 3-4
times a week, (when I'm not working overtime). There's a decent
course just up the road from where you'll be - Green Meadows. It's
in Nashua NH, just up 3a. It's got 2 18 hole courses and a nice
natural driving range. Both my husband and I have played there alone
before - you just go up and you'll probably get matched up with
somebody. If you're going, give us a call first and one of us or
both of us may join you. My husband's a good golfer. He's often
under 40 for 9. I'm a new golfer - I hit in the 50's for 9,
under 110 for 18, but I'm fast to play with.
