Oak Ridge is a nice course - not very hard. I've never played
it from the tips tho and it can stretch a bit on a few holes.
Haven't played it in 6 years. They were looking to host a
ladies pro tourney and alot went into the look of the course.
Flowers, better conditioning, etc...
Greens are kinda funny. They didn't hold too well and they're
mossy - unlike any I've seen. Also, they break about 1/4th
what you read. Greens are fairly large and deep. A few holes
can be 3 clubs from front to back. Practice green is a joke -
much hillier than anything on the course.
The holes are pretty straightforward. The middle will be a
good place to be ;^) There are trees but not much where you'd
lose your ball.
18 is a good finishing hole. Make sure to look at it on the
par 5 16th so you'll see that pond that's not in sight on the
18th tee (keep it left). You'll have alot of opportunities to
see upcoming holes. You can see 2 and 9 from #1. You can see
3 from 2, etc... Not sure if there's a course map on the card.
Best advice - putts are much straighter than they look.
