I'm a beginning golfer (and a SERPer). I'm thinking of going to a
five day golf school at Stoweflake Resort in Stowe, Vermont.
Anyone know anything about this resort/school ???
Think it's a good idea ???

I was at Stowe about a year ago and attended the Rolland Staford Golf School which was right next door to Stoweflake. The Rolland Staford school is accociated with the Stowe CC and was fantastic. I did the three day course and loved it. Four students to each Pro (and they did a great job). The group was divided into four or five group based on level and everyone had a great time. Each day finished with a round on the course, which is a very nice golf course. That was my first introduction to golf and I have stayed with it. As one older fellow said to me the other day out on the course "You should make up your mind now: either go on playing or enjoy the rest of your life". Vince | |||||

Hi,
Rolland Staford's school has now switched to upstate NY......The Stowe
School has done a good job for many and why can't a SERPer(or even this
SERPer) learn to play golf better?
