Is this Innisbrook in Clearwater Fla?
If so, go to 'The Lobster Pot'. It's either in Clearwater or
St.Petersberg, but not far either way. It's a gourmet seafood place,
but not that expensive and not very formal. Outstanding food, don't
forget the key lime pie for desert (best I've had). This place has a
very well deserved reputation, but is not at all pretentious.
A good lunch spot is the original Hooters on the Courtney Campbell
Causeway in Clearwater. Good food (grouper sandwich with cheese), they
are known for their wings and beautiful waitresses. Feel free to bring
your wife/girlfriend. It's very casual and friendly. The waitresses
are quite an eyefull, but they are clothed and always in good spirits,
it's not a 'dirty' atmosphere at all. Check out the picture of Jack
Nicklaus on the wall by the front door, he looks like he's having a
good time at Hooters!!
Go to Harbour Island in Downtown Tampa at night. Many restaurants and
clubs with entertainment there. Check out Blueberry Hill, a great
'oldies' club or there is also a club that has live jazz outside.
My favorite restaurant there is (I can't remember the name) something
like the 'lighthouse' or some name like that. It's on the corner of the
island where the boat docks start. If you like fish-steak (like
swordfish) and Marlin is on the menu, get it.
After all that, I sure hope this is in Clearwater!
I've been there and the golf is great at Innisbrook.
