    All...The Tewksberry Golf League has openings for those of you
    who would like to get into a league. Time is running out so
    please get back to me as soon as you can. Don't worry about
    teaming up (although that is preferable), I will put you in
    touch with all others looking to team up so you can find
    someone mutually compatible.
    
    About our league:
    
    Where: Trull Brook golf course in Tewksbury Ma. (about 3 mi. from
    	the DEC plant in TWO. Short but picturesque course (slope 115)
    	that has a lot to offer the thinking mans game.
    
    When: A/B flights tee off between 3:00 and 4:12. C flight tees 
    	off between 4:52 and 5:24 on Monday afternoon.
    
    Our format is a two-man medal. 2pts/hole, with one pt going to
      	low individual net, the other pt to low team net. We have
    	pre-assigned tee times to keep everything organized and 
    	moving along.
    
    There is a year-end banquet with prize tables that insures that
    everyone goes home with something. Prizes in the past have
    ranged from sets of irons/woods, pro golf bags, specialty clubs/putters
    pull carts etc. In many cases we have had 3-4 bags on each prize 
    table (A,B and C). The cost of the banquet is paid for by the
    league.
    
    We presently have openings in all 3 flights and would like to
    have additional teams lined up in case some teams drop at the
    last minute. This has happened in the past so the chances are
    good that the teams on the waiting list could still get in.
    
    We would also welcome anyone that would like to play as an
    alternate. We only charge $5.00 for alternates to play their
    round vs the usual league charge of $14.00 this year. Our alternates
    get frequent calls due to business pressures/vacation/sickness etc.
    
    This is set up as a fun league and cut-throat play is discouraged.
    We want the league to be a friendly atmosphere where we can get
    together after work and enjoy the game of golf in a semi-competitive
    environment with our co-workers.

Hi. I just joined Digital in ZKO and I was want to join a golf league.  Is there
one in Nashua, and who do I contact for it?  I haven't found anyone around here
who likes to play golf!

Otherwise, I'd like to join the league that is forming in Tewksbury.  It sounds
like a lot of fun.

I'm a 25 handicapper but I want to become a 20 this year... (ha ha.  I'm also
buying lottery tickets...)

    there is a good sized league the runs out of Nashua and Merrimack. We
    play at both Amherst CC and Passaconoway CC. The league signups are
    already done, but there is a very large demand for subs, subs can 
    probably play more than the regulars if they want.

Anyway, I'm interested in joining the Tewksbury league.  I was formerly 
involved in a league out of Dascomb Rd in Andover which has ceased operation. 
My handicap is around 10 for 9 holes so I'd like to be placed in an appropriate 
flight.  Also, I am in need of a partner.  Please let me know if you have any 
openings as well as whether you have any other singles looking for a partner.

    	The Tewksbury league has folded due to lack of players and they
    weren't able to contract a slot with Trull.....

    league.  i don't know about that 10 handicap claim.
