| Gary,
No matter how much you like golf, how can you even think of wasting
time at a course. You have got to hit the beach, learn the limbata, go
up to the top of San Cristo, hit the beach.....enough said.

| SCD,
I consider spending hours at the beach with thousands of other people
in the hot sun a waste of time. I'd rather spend the hours with
thousands of other people in the hot sun playing golf ;-)
Guess I'm just another New Englander frustrated by the cold and ice who
can't wait to start playing again.

| Gary,
Must be a long winter. Suggest you get a copy of the latest Sports
Illustrated and use it as inspiration for your trip. A kidding aside,
I guess if I had the chance to play golf in SA, I would make the
effort. Or at least take my sand wedge and some golf balls to the
beach.

| If you took your clubs, you would probably never use them, trust me on
this one.
Miles and miles of the most BEAUTIFUL women in the world on the beaches
of Rio.
But you might just stopover on your return in Miami for a few holes.
After having gone there, I truly envy you.

| There's a golf course about 20 minutes taxi trip south of RIO. I can't
remember the name, but I had a look at it a few years ago, and it
looked to be in good condition, and interesting. I've no idea about
how much the green fees are, but I remember I could have played if I
wanted, so perhaps you'll be lucky. There's a restaurant on IPANEMA
called BARRIL 1860 which is worth a visit for a good
Churascaria(spelling?).
hope this helps
