      Five minutes before John Cook chipped in twice, I say to
     my  18 year old son, " I love this guys putting and chipping
    stroke". 
    
      Can Dan Quale really hit it 273 ????
      Must be taking "Lenehan " pills.
    
      Wow!  And he can't be practising THAT much !
      And looks like finally Fred Couples will be the force on tour
      everyone thought he'd be.
    
      (did he miss another 3 footer?)
    
      And it looks like Tom Kite's new swing is finally working.
      Enjoyed that playoff , one of the better ones with good
      camera work.

    Hi Angie,
    
    	Looked to me like Cook was playing what the boys from div 6 used
    	to call "Angie Ball" ! It's painful to watch someone miss the green
    	and still win the hole with a great chipping game...
    
    	After watching the playoff I started think... Gee  all I had 
    	to shoot to beat Cook during the four playoff holes was
    
    	hole 1         birdie to half   eagle wins
    	hole 2	       birdie to half	eagle wins
    	hole 3	       birdie to half	eagle wins
    	hole 4	       eagle to half    double eagle to win
    
    	All his putts and chips hit dead center! What an awesome display!
    
    	Too bad about Kite three putting the first playoff hole... his
    	putting stroke really broke down under the pressure.
    
    	Freddy has been in the top 6, 14 of his last 16 tourny's with 3
    	victories! Has the tour finally found a dominant player? I
    	hope he keeps it going the game needs someone to break from the
    	pack.

	Fred Couples is definitely on a roll. They had a stat on him during
the Bob Hope that said he has finished in the top 6 in 14 of his last 16
starts.

    Can Dan Quayle really hit it 273?  Yes he can.  I shot video of him and
    Jack playing last year in palm springs, and Dan actually beat Jack.  If
    Dan can't make it in politics, he can make it on the tour.

    As the Past Pres. of the Notes File Freddy Fan Club...way to go Freddy. 
    Does he really hit it that far with a swing that looks like a warm up
    swing.  Amazing.
    
    As for DQ, guess if he can make it thru 4 more years in office, he will
    have about 2 years to get his game  back in order to join the Seniors. 
    Can you imagine having the SS boys follow you to every tourney...How do
    I volunteer for that assignment.  Of course, they never get to watch
    the golf...all they do is watch the crowd.  Must be a giggle for the
    ones with G. Ford.  The crowd they watch is always ducking.  You could
    tell the bad guy by the fact that he would be the only one not wearing a
    hard hat.
