For those of us mere mortal golfers, and "Stow junkies" like
myself , we always sort of knew that front nine blues at Stow were
tough. Especially since adding rough 3 years ago.
Well the MGA just completed a new "evaluation" and the slope
goes from 124 to 130. And the USGA rating will be 73-74 ?
(Blues only).
They are also re-evaluating South now.
If any of the DEC league handicap officials are "reading" please
take note for next year's " 'cap differentials and calculations"
thanks,
Ang

Oh, great...and I'm heading there this Saturday for the first time
since I was in the DEC league ('88), which has left my psyche perma-
nently scarred. Oh, well, at least I'll be able to crawl off the 18th
with the consolation of having been humbled by a *real* golf course.
There's nothing as discouraging as shooting a 3-digit number on a
track that's one step above a pitch & putt layout!
