GOLF FOR THE ARTS TOURNAMENT

Medicine Wheel Artists' Retreat announces the fall's most exciting golfing
event, the GOLF FOR THE ARTS TOURNAMENT. This event takes place on Saturday,
September 21, 1991 at the Groton Country Club. The Grand Prize for the low
gross score is a golf vacation for two to the Sands Oceanfront Resort,
Myrtle Beach, NC. The trip includes round-trip airfare, 4 day car rental, 3
nights' lodging, 4 greens fees on any of over 65 courses, and 3 golfer's
breakfasts.

To be eligible for the Grand Prize, golfers must enter the Grand Flight,
which costs $100 and includes 18 holes, cart, and a barbeque lunch. Golfers
may also enter the Handicapped Flight, Men's Calloway Flight, and Ladies'
Calloway Flight -- all of which costs $59. A special Under 18 Flight will
only cost $39.

Prizes will be given away for 1st & 2nd Handicapped Flight, Low Gross & Low
Net Men's Calloway Flight, 1st Prize Ladies' Flight, 1st Prize Under 18
Flight, Longest Drive, and Closest to the Pin.  We will give away dinners;
rounds of golf; tickets to art events, concerts, and museums; plaques; golf
clubs; and golf accessories. The tournament is limited to 64 golfers, so
register early.

Club. Call (508) 448-3717 for more information.

(Medicine Wheel Artists' Retreat is a non-profit corporation that supports
the artist in the time between school and success when little help is
available.)

Doesn't the 'Grand Stand' run thru both NC and SC? I seem to remember
playing courses in both when going to Myrtle Beach.
