My wife is toying with the idea of taking up golf. The problem is, she's never been exposed to the game, and she's a southpaw. Does anyone know where I can get an inexpensive (preferably used -- she's not ready to commit yet) set of left-handed clubs? We live in Maynard, Mass. Thanks for any help. (I can be reaches at LESCOM::KALLIS.) Steve Kallis, Jr.

1349.1 | A lefty can play from the right side | ESCROW::ROSCOE | Thu Aug 22 1991 15:17 | 12
I'm left handed and play golf from the right side. In fact it is suppose to be an advantage to do so, don't ask me what it is though... If she insists on playing from the left side so be it, but I would encourage play from the right side if she is open to the idea. You can get a starter set of clubs just about any place. Just about any golf course or large department store carries clubs. Wayland country club had a nice deal on a set of starter clubs and lessons a while back you might want to check them out. rich

I agree with .1 Most left handed people play golf right-handed. Probably the most notable is Johnny Miller. |
