The golf season is in full bloom in New England. This past weekend saw
the NE Amateur being played at Wannamoisette in Rumford, RI. Notable
sons of golfers included:
1.Jean-Paul Hebert son of 1960 US PGA winner Lionel Hebert and nephew
of Jay Hebert of PGA Tour fame a few years ago.
2.Gary Nicklaus whose Father does not need to be clarified!
3.John Nieporte son of a former PGA tour and Ohio State golfer, Tom
Nieporte
Also, at 218(75,70,73) and 9 strokes off the lead was Digital's own Ray
Wright who is the reigning Mass Amateur Champion and plays out of
Framingham CC. We should be proud that Digital has someone this well
placed in NE golf( another of Digital's well kept secrets!).
