| I agree with .1 -- .0 is rather implication-rich, I read this conference
for fun -I don't think this note belongs here.

| You may consider playing golf on Sunday or Wednesday. Many Christians
out there since many go to church Sat. evening and the Ministers play
on Wed. with there Dr. buddies.
If you need more help, read the jokes file for christian oriented
jokes. Manners and attitude are not an exclusive of the Christian
faith. Quite often the contrary is true. Played some LDS basketball
and softball in my life and found the behavior following the pre=game
prayer to be very non-fellowship like.
For other christian oriented golf accessories, I suggest Caddyshack and
See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil golf tees available at many
non denominational golf shops.
Bill...are you out there. Boy did I have to bite my tongue on this
one.

| I didn't mean to offend anybody, I am a golfer and would just like
to find other golfers that like to go out and have fun, without using
four letter words after every shot. I have many bad shots and have
found practice to be a cure.

Jesus lived umong the sinners. We are all sinners. As a matter of fact
the way I play golf is a sin.

| Moderator here...
I'm going to write-lock this topic while I discuss it with the other
moderators.
I don't feel the overtones of the base note are appropriate for this
conference - if it's only Christians you're interested in, you are
likely to find an audience that's exclusively so in GOLF::CHRISTIAN.
As for the rest of the replies, I sense an unacceptable trend (if one
can truly be sensed after only three replies!) towards Christian-bashing.
My feeling is that's equally inappropriate in this conference.
Let's keep the religious agruments limited to two vs. three piece balls
or Vardon vs. interlocking grips, OK?
