Hi Y'all,
I know that your southern USA folks must play somewhere down there...
And I also know that we are all not affluent enough to be playing
Private or Semi Private golf Courses.
C'mon now, let's see some of that good ole hospitality and point me in
the direction of a Public or Semi-Private course that has some practice
area. I'm looking for bang for the buck so tell me about your best
experiances. I'll publish my findings upon my return.
I'm leaving for Nashville, Tenn. on Thursday morning and will visit
any of the surrounding states withing reason. I'm ending up in Memphis
1.5 weeks later so I have ample time and initiative to travel and play.
I'll consider travelling to any of the surrounding states.
Thanks in Advance,
Your Northern Neighbor. JD

I lived just north of Nashville for 3 years. There's a real nice course
right were I lived. In fact they had the Tennessee State Tournement
there one year. However you have to belong to a special club - "The US
Army". The course in right on the base, which is occupied by the
101st Airborne Division.
I've never played any other course in that area. When your in the
service you don't make a lot of money. Golf only cost me $5 for 18
holes.
