     For those of you/us that grew up in the inner city,
    there's a great article in today's Globe on the 100th
    anniversary of the first round of golf played in
    Massachusetts.
    
    At Franklin Park Golf Course , on which I spent a lot of time
    but not playing golf. Mostly baseball and tag football.
    
    I saved a copy if anybody misses it.
    
    Bobby Jones said it had the best par 4 he had ever seen.
    
    I think it's the one where the landing area for your driver is
    narrowed by trees, has to make a slight rise, and the green is 
    protected by a stream , is set down low and is about 410 yds
    long.Trees and bunkers protect the green.
     But it's been a long time!
