Hi Larry,
I've played a course back over the line (Rehoboth, MA) that was pretty
decent a couple of years ago. I believe it's called Rehoboth CC or GC
or somesuch. Just a thought. Happy flogging...

PS. Off to Stow myself this wkend - almost like an event when I'll
cough up enough $$ to play there these days.

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up playing Triggs because I'm
fond of Donald Ross courses. It's a good layout. It starts hard.
(I can't remember another course I've played where you've already
played the #1 & 3 stroke holes after 3 holes.) The greens were
in good shape, the tees showed lots of wear, the fairways were good
if you kept the ball in the short mown grass.
Unfortuantely they were having a tournament there in the morning so
I didn't get out until late. (Moral call ahead.) But I did get
linked up with a guy that plays there weekly, so he helped with
strategy & ball position. Overall a wash.
Larry
PS: The view of the Providence sky line was a nice bonus.
