Don't know about the going corporate thing, but Watson is a long time
RAM user, balls, clubs etc.
Maybe they just offered more money for him to wear the logo.

| Maybe he needs the (considerable) money.
I wouldn't hold it against him. He does sponsor RAM equipment and is
committed to use it.

888.3 | THEY ARE ONLY BILLBOARDS | BOGUSS::COOPER | WHAT SLICE, ITS A FADE !! | Mon Mar 12 1990 15:19 | 11 |
| I'm not getting on Watson other than that he has raked the
other pros for using their foreheads as billboards, now he is
doing the same. At least he was wearing a colored visor in
stead of the standard white visor so I guess he just needs the
bucks. Maybe RAM put a lot of pressure on him. There are other
pros that don't wear logoed visors or hats on the tour but they
are few and far between. Even Norman advertises on his sleeve.
Who are the pros that haven't given in to this commercialism ??
Anyone know ??

Have you tried to find a visor that doesn't say anything recently?
Maybe he got tired of having them specially made. ;-)

| Mac O'Grady is the only one that can think of that doesn't
accept sponsor's money. He walks to the beat of a different
drum.
