Hi, Well, the day is fast approaching!!!!!! The GOLDEN BEAR is fifty(50) years old this Sunday. Time flies. It like only a few years ago when they did a TV special on the "Ace of Clubs" from a Columbus, Ohio station after he won his first PGA major. He won his first of two(2) U.S. Amateur's in the late 1950's at Broadmor(?) and his last major at the 1986 Master's. Does anyone think it will be his last "biggie"? You will find that any true Ohioian is an avid CHAMPION of one of our Buckeye success stories, so expect more from this Buckeye! Tom

I think that we will still see Jack win another major...! If he puts (can put) the time into it, he will win another...! I KNOW I would love to see him do it. Gene | |||||

I don't know about the regular tour, but I will put my money on him to take the Senior U.S. Open in the next couple of years. I was reading somewhere that Jack said that for the first time in a long time he has a goal. To win one on the "regular" tour and one on the Seniors, in the same year. If anyone can do it, Jack's the one. Majors in 5 decades, has anyone else done it?? Joe |
