624.0. "Help using DIGITAL logo" by CHET::BEAUCHESNE () Thu May 25 1989 11:26

Our League here in Nashua (PSG) would like to get some towels
made up with the DEC logo. Have any other leagues done something
like this, and who did you have to get approval from (if anyone)?

We are thinking of using the DIGITAL logo with a ball and tee
next to it. Any help/ideas/etc. would be appreciated. Also, if
your league has done this, where did you get the towels done and
    what was the cost?

If you'd prefer, reply to me via VAXmail at CHET::BEAUCHESNE.

    	Thanks,

    	Moe Beauchesne

Don't remember where but there is a corporate memo on use/abuse
of the dec logo that has been published since we got a trade-mark
on it...will try and look for it later...

Digital has a published Corporate Identity Manual that covers, among
    many things, use of logo/trademark.

This is published and maintained by Corporate Identity & Design
    Group, CFO1-1/M37, DTN 251-1515.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info so far. I had read the memo on the DIGITAL
logo, which is what prompted me to enter this note in the first
place. I guess we'll be calling the Corp. Identity folks to see
    what they've got to say.

    	Thanks again,
    	Moe
