I finally seem to have decided to replace my old PowerBilt Momentum irons. I have been looking at the fairly new TPS irons from the same manufacturer, and I've also hit some test shots with a few of the clubs (taped-up of course). Now I'd like to know if any of you golfers out there are using these clubs, and what you think of them. Also, what can I expect to pay for the nine irons in the U.S? I'm planning to either buy them there myself or send a shopping list with a friend - they are about $600 here in Sweden which is a bit on the expensive side. -- Mr Litby

I LIKE TPS IRONS VERY MUCH. I BOUGHT A SET OF THE IRONS LAST YEAR.
I FIND ALL THE CLUBS FAIRLY EASY TO HIT, RIGHT FROM THE 2 IRON TO
SAND WEDGE. THE LOFTS ON THE CLUBS SEEM A LITTLE STRONG AND I AM
USING 1 CLUB LESS THAN I USE TO WITH FORGED IRONS.
EVEN THOUGH THE PRICE IS A LITTLE STEEP($600.00 CANADIAN AS WELL)
I THINK THEY ARE WORTH THE MONEY.

re: .0 Mr. Litby, I called the new Nevada Bob's in Nashua, a local discount golf store. They don't currently stock the TPS, but said they will special order it. I asked for a ballpark price and they said $350-400. If you buy in New Hampshire you will avoid the 5% Massachusetts sales tax. Jeff | |||||
