543.0. "Backyard Driving Net?" by CURIE::TATE (ESG Product Marketing - IESE) Thu Mar 09 1989 07:34
Has anyone built their own backyard driving net? I'm thinking about
buying some electical conduit with all the right fittings, and netting,
and putting together a net like the golf shops have for, I think,
much less than I could buy one. I've seen the small nets in the
stores, the ones that are really only a 7x7 ft square piece of net,
and think something could be built for less than they cost, and
a better quality.
I'd appreciate any tips on how to build one, what materials you
used, etc...
thanks,
Scott

| At K-Mart last night, I saw a practice net for $39.95 !!
Not big and fancy but it was ok..5 x 7 feet I think...
I'm going back to get one today...
And yes, although I am in Augusta, Maine, K-Mart is K-Mart..
