Can anyone recommend a good teacher for women in the Nashua, NH area? I've been playing for ten years, but this last season was particularly frustrating. My short game is pretty good, but my fairway shots are pitiful! I would like to take a series of lessons beginning in early spring and continuing throughout the season. I don't ever expect or want to get good enough to play in tournaments, but I would like to enjoy the game again and make it less frustrating. Thanks for your help. Ellen

I would recommend Rich Thibeault at Charmingfare CC in Candia NH. He used to sell lesson packages that ran over several weeks. This makes it nice because you can practice what he teaches you over a period of time and each week would cover a different aspect of the game (chipping, putting, driving, etc...). I've know several women to take lessons with him and were very happy with him. If Candia is too far I would suggest Amherst CC. I have known several people to have taken lessons there that were very happy with their advice. There is also I nice practice area there and a large teaching staff. | |||||

Call Virgina at Buckmeadow in Amherst, NH (I think it is Amherst). She is very good with beginners and the "experienced". Her problem is too many people calling for lessons. She raised prices to keep her list down and they keep coming back for more !! Merle |
