| I just do the usual wash in warm soapy water and use a pin or something
similar to remove any dirt from the grooves. Then I store them in
a cool, dry place for the winter (which is usually where my skis
are). I'll see them again in the spring.

Hopefully don't put them away just head to the Cape once in a while.
But, some thoughts on end of year maintenance. A good cleaning as
mentioned in an earlier reply and it is also a great idea to wax
the shafts and metal heads. It should also be the time of year to
check your wood (real wood) heads to see if they need to be refinished,
new whipping, etc. Check all the clubs to see if they need new grips.
It is a great time of year to get any work that needs to be done
on the clubs done, then they will be ready for next spring...

Don, the only wax that I have used is the stuff that comes in
those club cleaning kits (wire brush, couple small sponges,
wax, etc.). But, I don't know why regular car wax wouldn't
do just fine...!

Yea, I read somewhere that car wax would do a pretty good job.

Rick, I have been told that Classic Coke will take that dullness
of your Copper clubs. Soak them for a while in Coke then wipe them
dry. They should look like new.
