| Last time I was in Atlanta I played at the Stone Mountain course.
It's public, about 30 minutes from downtown at the Stone Mountain
recreation area. It was a real nice 18-hole layout with some tough,
hilly par fours on the front, and a couple of nice doglegs on the
back. I remember it as being normally priced for a muni 18; like
$16 or something. We went at 7:00 a.m. in April and teed right up.
You'll like it.

| You could contact Dave Metoyer at the CSC/AT. Dave is willing to
play golf anytime. Augusta is about a 5 hour drive from Atlanta
and unless you know a member at the Augusta CC, forget about playing
there. That is the ultimate snobatorium.

| I'm going to be in Atlanta for about 3 weeks starting in the middle
of June. Of course I am taking my clubs and will want to spend
as much time as possibe playing. I am looking for some nice courses
in the area and am willing to drive to play a nice track. Any help
or suggestions will be appreciated and if there are any of you noters
from the Atlanta area that would be interested in a few rounds,
I'd be more than happy to accomodate you.
Thanks....Mike

Just for the record, Augusta National is a 2 - 2 1/2 hour drive from
Atlanta.
