I'll be on holiday the 20ish of Nov. and will spend most of my time in and around the Mother Land (Middlesex England). I was wondering, since we up here in Maine have long put our clubs away, what is the golf like over yonder during this time, if any? And what courses might be playable etc? I know, some of the best 19ths in the world! What might I expect for rental/green fee's etc? (MasterCard?) I'll be staying with the Mother In Law so make me up a nice long list 8^). Regards Kevin, P.S. Jim, shouldn't we invite em to play in our Third Annual Northern Tour the 16th of Sept. (27holes) @Sugarloaf 17th (27holes) @Mingosprings. 8^)

Kevin, Although I now work in the Ayr plant in Scotland, I originate from a town called Harrow in Middlesex. Middlesex is a reasonably large English County and being located in the North West part of London, it can be tedious and time consuming travelling across it. There are a fair number of good courses in Middlesex and the surrounding counties such as Surrey, Berkshire and Hertfordshire. If you could be a bit more specific on where you will be staying I will be able to help you out. I think I have played every course in Middlesex and most of those in the other 2 counties mentioned. I can be contacted in VAXmail on AYOV18::MWEED. Mike Weed |
