Hi Dawn,
Welcome to the conference and to the area.
I don't know what the cost is for greens fees on these courses,
but here is a list of a few in the area.
Greenmedow (sp) in Hudson, NH. They have 2 18 hole courses...
Pine Acres in Pelham, NH. A short 9 hole course.
Amherst CC in Amherst, NH. 18 hole course.
Charmingfare Links in Candia, NH. 18 hole course.
Hickory Hill in Methuen, Mass. 18 hole course.
Hoodkroft CC in Derry, NH. A tough 9 hole course (lots of water).
Skyview in Nashua, NH. Right now 9 holes and expensive (going
private).
Crystal CC in Haverhill, Mass. 18 I think...
Well, this is a start and I am sure that there will be more
replies...
Enjoy

Going from memory, these are prices I remember.
> Greenmeadow in Hudson, NH. They have 2 18 hole courses...
Weekend rates at Greenmeadows is $20 for 18. Carts extra.
> Pine Acres in Pelham, NH. A short 9 hole course.
It's Pine Valley, not Acres and it was $8 for nine holes on
a weekday. Never played there on a weekend.
> Amherst CC in Amherst, NH. 18 hole course.
$9 weekday 9 holes, $14.50 for 18. Weekend is $20 for 18 holes.
> Charmingfare Links in Candia, NH. 18 hole course.
Been a while since I played there.
> Hickory Hill in Methuen, Mass. 18 hole course.
Never had the pleasure.
> Hoodkroft CC in Derry, NH. A tough 9 hole course (lots of water).
Been quite a while since there, too. They had vandals destroy
2 greens there about a month ago. Tore it up with carts at night
and had to play to temp greens.
> Skyview in Nashua, NH. Right now 9 holes and expensive (going
private).
I heard it was $17 on weekdays for 9 holes, this includes the
cart which is mandatory.
> Crystal CC in Haverhill, Mass. 18 I think...
Crystal Springs is 18 holes. On a weekend it is $8 for nine
and $14 I think for 18.
Tory Pines in Francestown is not to far to travel to. It is
just past Crotched Mt. ski area. There are 18 holes and are
lengthening the course to close to 7100 yards.
Buckmeadow is nine holes and is located in Amherst, just a
stones throw from ACC.
Whip-poor-will is ? holes and is in Hudson right near Alvirne
High School.

Weekdays, $13 for 18, carts $18 ($2 rebate when you turn in
the key)
>> Skyview in Nashua, NH. Right now 9 holes and expensive (going
>> private).

It's Sky Meadow. $20 weekdays for 18, cart $18 (so, split between
2 people, it's $29 each). Make tee times. "Proper dress" required.

Whip-Poor-Will is 9 holes, but I can't remember the fees..
There's Londonderry CC (off NH Rt 128), but I've never played
there. No idea on the number of holes or fees.

364.5 | Londonderry CC | BAGELS::MATSIS | | Thu Oct 27 1988 15:21 | 7 |
| Londonderry CC is 9 holes. $7. on the Weekend and $6. during the
week.
They are building an additional 9 holes now.
Par 3 course (maybe 1 or 2 par 4's).

364.6 | more on Londonderry CC | 16BITS::ARMSTRONG | | Thu Apr 13 1989 13:51 | 15 |
| The second 9 holes is still not ready at Londonderry CC. The present
9 are all par-3 holes. The longest hole for the men is somewhere
around 200 yards; for the women, longest hole is 160 yards. It's
a very small course but not without challenge.
Prices generally go up .50/9-holes each year. This year I think
greens fees are $6.50/9, $13.00/18 during the week--which I think
is rather steep for such a small course. I don't recall the exact
rate on the weekend, but, of course, it's higher. I believe they
open this weekend--the are having an open house this Saturday
April 15 with DJ and buffet (7-12, I think).
If you are just starting out, Londonderry is a great course--short
holes so you don't have to worry about hitting the ball real far
and many times before you even get to the green.
