Beak and Rick, Great pick......... If you can pick horses as well as you called the Open you should have no trouble playing all the golf you could want to. Birdies to you... Fred Deady

Why thanks Fred. But it really was just a SWAG. I DO need all the birdies I can get, tonight being league night and all. -rick_who_is_thinking_about_heading_up_to_Rockingham_to_see_the_ponies | |||||

Yes, thanks Fred. It really was just a good educated guess. I mean, Strange has been one of the most consistant golfers on the tour over the last 3 years, and has as good a claim as any, to being the best on the PGA tour. But with all the competition on the tour, this doesn't guarantee anything. It certainly could have been any of about 20 golfers, as far as I was concerned. It usually is a veteran type player though, as the pressure of the majors can really bother the younger less experienced players. I certainly wish I could pick horses as well as this though!!! By the way, last night in my league, I birdied the 9th hole with a tap-in, just after I lipped an eagle putt!!! Someone was rewarding me for that guess!!! :-) :-) Beak |
