Macgregor Tourney is a good golf club. They are a standard off
the shelf type club in general but are adjustable by a knowledgeable
person. I just took one in for repair (broken shaft) and it is not
a perimeter weighted club. If your friend wants to have a large
sweet spot iron, this is not the club.

| Hmmmm... doesn't sound like the Macgregor irons will be much
better than the K-28's. I didn't want to see Gerry pay $230+
and be where he started.
Thanks for the information.

| May be a little out of the price range, but check the MacGregor
CG1800's; a perimeter-weighted club with "forgiveness" and power.

| Just to finish the story... Gerry bought the MacGregor tourneys.
They are a perimeter-weighted club and feel/look similar to pings.
He has played a few rounds to date and is happy with the added
distance... Seems they are selling pretty good lately (so the
attendant says).

Hmmmmmm That's interesting.. Learn something new every day. I wonder
when that happened.

Yeah... I was surprised also. Matter of fact it wasn't until I read
it on the club that I believed it. Must be new this year??
thanks again

re:-x
Are these clubs the new RPM clubs? The only perimeter weighted
MacGregor clubs I know of are the RPM, and CG1800's.
