When I have played this format, it has always been Selected Drive,
then play alternate shots into the cup.

A Scotch foresome is one man one woman playing as one team. Man
tees off on even holes,the woman tees of on odd holes [or visa-
versa].Then its alternating shots to the hole.

| There is an explanation in the USGA's Handiap Rules booklet. There
are several other tournament definitions included.
In Augusta (Maine, that is) we play, as Kevin previously stated,
a mixed Scotch Double Scotch. Men drive off the even numbered
tees, women the odd numbered tees. They alternate each shot, playing
only one ball. It makes for some interesting scores and shots.
We give trophies for:
Lowest Net - 1st,2nd,3rd
High Gross
Fewest Putts
Fewest Divorces
Try it sometime...It's lots of fun !

I've played that (ie both drive, both hit each others second shots,
