In the new AIM Hot Iron awards announced at Networld + Interop Tradeshow
last week, we won a lot of the awards, including,
Multiuser Shared System MIX
Best Throughput Performance
Less than$15,000 -- AcerAltos 9000Pro
$15,000-$29,999 -- Digital Prioris HX 6200MP
$30,000-$74,999 -- Digital Prioris ZX 6200MP/4
$75,000-$149,999 -- Digital Prioris ZX 6200MP/4 (1536MB)
$150,000 and Over -- Digital AlphaServer 8400 5/350
The last one leaves me miffed, because it's with the 5/350 CPU.
On the one hand it's great news because it shows that we can win this
kind of stuff with such old technology. On the other hand, I'm wondering
why the 5/440 CPU or the 5/622 wasn't cited as having better throughput.
I'd love to share these results with customers, but how can I and try to
sell the 5/440 or 5/622?
Can anyone shed some light?
