Anyone aware of a StorageTek silo (9490 Timberline) connected/running on an 8400 PCI/SCSI? I've got an upgraded 7xxx XMI sys and assume I would have to add a DWLPB-AA and KZPSx. I believe STK has a ?? that plugs into scsi. The current interface to onsite is the HSC/TC44. Thanks. Fred.

Fred, As you are using TC44's at present i assume you are using OpenVMS, if so i think you are out of luck. There are no qualified STK-SCSI solutions available from within Digital that i am aware of. You can try it and it MIGHT work, but remember you are on your own!!! Please contact CSS in Merrimack, NH for confirmation. Now for Digital Unix its another story and SCSI connects are supported!
